A Healer's words......

I'm coming to the end of my official training as a Spiritual healer. My fascination for the subject has grown throughout the years. I wanted to dig a little deeper and find out more.

It's strange because the more I study, the more the barriers between healing, spirituality and art seem to dissolve. Having spent eight years as a music therapist and many years as a musician and teacher. I feel now, that it's all simply energy, directed in a different way. Nothing in this world remains still, everything is moving. If my musical creations spark life, then I am in contact with all matter and form around me.

There seems to be so much more to this world than perhaps I will ever know. Perhaps it is not for me to know!

I remember the conversations and words of many, The significance of phrases and words, although the essence was left unspoken.....

This is where I have gained insight, into a state of awareness and connection that was being mouthed silently.....

ARTIST'S WORDS......

I like to warm in the sun, like an incubator. Later I can give birth to poetry and music. Yet when the seasons are confused and ill-defined, it leaves a residue hanging and creates occasional confusion.

When a song is full and ripe,I can record it quickly and effortlessly. I do not rest until the job is done.

I spent last week running music workshops for a community project in Edgware, almost had no time to post!! The project was called "Arts in action," originally set up by Linda Edwards as part of the Larches Trust, a self-motivated and creative parent looking to create a better future for adults who have disabilities.

The creation of art, music and drama serving as a communication and dialogue for all. The immediacy and spontaneity of the work, synergy released.We wrote songs, created rap, improvised freely around themes and broke beyond the expected barriers of our daily existence.
